Last week we completed "Fraction Bootcamp" which was a review of all fraction concepts students have learned thus far (improper to mixed and vice versa, equivalent fractions, simplifying fractions, adding and subtracting fractions), if students are not confident with any of these past concepts they are strongly encouraged to practice!
Today, we took a look at models to visualize multiplying a fraction by a whole number. Which model did you like best?
In Science, students have independently researched an optical phenomenon. On Thursday they will be required to present it to a small group. Task sheet here: Optical Phenomena
